Event title: Night of Museums 6.00 pm to 10.45 pm – free entrance to the museum’s permanent exhibition 6.00 pm – opening of the temporary exhibition “Ten years of donations and acquisitions at Babeș-Bolyai University Museum, Cluj’”. First exhibition of school documents, postcards, photographs, medals and other objects donated by the families of Cluj academics, as well as by others, or purchased by the museum. The photographs and the posters will reveal a short history of the University Museum’s activities from 2001 until the present day. Associated educational activities will also be organised.

Visits to the temporary exhibition “Rudists – the sea’s dinosaurs” During the event there will be presentations of little known abnormal sea creatures (rudists, ammonites, inoceramus) which lived at the end of The Cretaceous. Visits to the permanent collections: the Systematic Paleontology Collection, The Transylvanian Basin Collection, The Tertiary Vertebrate Collection of the Transylvanian Basin, The Collection of Jurrasic ammonites

Event title: Blue-green Opening hours: from 5.00 pm to 10.00 pm Visits to the temporary exhibition “Turquoise”, based on a presentation flyer. Visitors are invited to follow a thematic route called “ Blue-green” which reveals one of the most appealing themes of the main collection. As in the previous years, there will be a workshop for children where they can play with “Shapes and shades of turquoise”.
