The Galateca exhibition The art collector Florin Colonaş presents the Brauneriana exhibition- a group of 50 posters of the Victor Brauner exhibitions. A mysterious library, opened during the museum Night! Joining the Bucharest museums, the “Carol 1st” Central Library, the further University Foundation “Carol 1st”, registers for the first time in the history of libraries, in the cultural Museum Night itinerary. Founded at the 3rd of May 1892 and inaugurated at the 14th of March 1895 as a University Foundation, by King Carol 1st, the historical monument building was built after the plans of the French architect Paul Gottereau in a neoclassic style. The extension of the university foundation Carol 1st was inaugurated on the 9th of May 1914, by King Carol 1st, on the spot of the old Paucescu house, where Eminescu recited The 3rd Letter for the first time and Caragiale read A stormy night. The central university library “Carol 1st” will open its gates for visits through 88 Victoria way, near the Carol the 1st equestrian statue. The Aula, the Teacher’s hall, the Rotund, the “Mircea Tomescu” Hall, the Carol 1st Hall, the “Robert Schumann European documentation hall”, the Boehme wing and the multimedia hall may be visited.
