Night of Museums’ events:

• 6 pm – 8 pm – Romanian music concert
• Reopening of the complex of rooms “Geology of Romania” to visitors;
• Reopening of the room “Useful and ornamental rocks”;
• Inauguration of the room “Ludovic Mrazec”;
• Temporary exhibition of photography “Secţiuni subţiri” (Thin sections), author Dan Beşliu;
• Book launch; Between 10 am and 4.30 pm (last entrance 3. 30 pm), access is allowed based on ticket (8 RON/adults and 4 RON/ children)

The National Museum of Geology offers visitors:

• Its collections on permanent exhibition;
• A temporary exhibition of photography “Secţiuni subţiri” (Thin sections), author Dan Beşliu;
• Exhibition and sale of crystals and jewelry made with precious and semiprecious stones

From 12.00 pm to 4.00 pm, children can participate in the workshop “Dinosaurs in Romania”. Registrations by phone: 021. 212. 89.52, interior 123, between the 9th and the 13th of May, 2011. The group limited to 20 children. The ticket price is 16 RON.
