Cultural-musical soirée Opening hours: from 5.00 pm 5.00 pm – The opening, followed by classical music, traditional folkloric music, “evergreens” and contemporary music with guitar accompaniment. There will also be short projections of films made during MNCR’s field research, as well as films on museum education and on the exhibition activities of MNCR in the past three years. The soirée will also host a raffle and a fundraising campaign.

Harghita Opening hours: from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm Between the fifth and the fourth millenium B.C., the neolithic civilization (the Copper Age) experienced a great boom in Eastern Europe. One remarkable culture is the one of Cucuteni-Ariuşd-Tripolie, whose traces have been found in counties like Covasna (village Ariuşd) and Harghita (village Păuleni Ciuc-Ciomortan). The exhibit presents the experimental archaeology camp organized in 2009 by the National Museum of the Eastern Carpathians together with the Scientific-Cultural Association “Eastern Carpathians”, with the support of the National Cultural Fund Administration.
