ArtSociety Gallery presents 80 heritage masterpieces - selected from the Museum of the Bucharest Municipality Pinacotheca - that could not be exhibited because of the imperative lack of space. Unrevealed works of art, realized by the most important Romanian painters - Ion Andreescu, Nicolae Grigorescu, Nicolae Tonitza, Iosif Iser etc. – find their own space of exhibition in the Cesianu-Racoviţă Palace. Especially for the visitors of the Night of the Museums 2012, the exhibition will be focused on the nudes of the collection, brought in comparison with other genres of painting. Images of fascinating nudes will be projected in slide show during the night, in parallel with the exhibited masterpieces of the Gallery and by 21:00 will screen the film ”Stefan Luchian” (1981), directed by Nicolae Mărgineanu.
