The “Souls’ Garden” of the barron Bellu proudly invites the large public for a special night out celebrating 100 years since two great Romanian personalities have found their eternal rest in the “sleeping” town: the architect Ion Mincu and the great play-writer Ion Luca Caragiale. The open-air central exhibition shall display representative works of these two personalities. During their entire visit, the visitors can join the guided groups that shall introduce them to the “sleeping city” atmosphere. This year, the top monuments shall be of course those dedicated to Ion Mincu and to Ion Luca Caragiale, as well as the monuments of other writers and artists and Ion Mincu’s other masterpieces. The event shall be inaugurated by a sermon for a religious monument built near Ion Mincu’s tomb, architect with a major impact on the Neo-Romanian architecture.
