On May 19, visitors of Brukenthal National Museum will have access to Brukenthal Palace for „Baroque Costume” programme, Museum of Natural History for „Nature’s Parade” and to Museum of History. The hosts in Brukenthal Palace will be Samuel von Brukenthal and his wife Sofia, attended by a steward and a maid (see photo for the last two)! The „Baroque Costume” aims at an interactive approach in transmitting the information about Baroque period and Brukenthal Palace through the means of costumes made after researching the painting and textile collections of the Museum. Alexandru Nicolae, fashion designer, also participated in the project.
