The National Technical Museum “Professor Engineer Dimitrie Leonida”, of Bucharest invites you on May 19th 2012, from 08.00 PM to 01.00 AM to the event: “Science Goes Awry at Midnight” where visitors will be presented a unique exhibition through which technology will come to life. For those who are curious, you can feel on your own skin the effects of static electricity, with the help of the Winter Machine. The air will vibrate from the noise produced by the “Edison” dynamo and by the vertical steam engine powered by a cylinder produced by “Brule & Co, Paris”, which fueled the power plant for the National Theater in Bucharest, the “Brush” generator (1882), you will also be able to see the horizontal steam engine operated at the National Mint (1888) and many more.

For locomotive enthusiasts, there will be a demonstration of steam and electric locomotive models. Also oversized slideshow will help you discover the wonderful world of technology.
