During the Night of Museums, Frezia Gallery presents the sculpture and drawing s exhibition of the artist Ion Iancuţ (b. on 28th of February 1950 in Răducăneni, Iaşi). Romanian painter, sculptor and drawing artist, Ion Iancuţ graduated from “Nicolae Grigorescu” Fine Arts Institute of Bucharest in 1974 and in 1977 became a member of the The Romanian Union of Plastic Artists. Over time, he presented his works at a large number of personal exhibitions, group exhibitions and sculpture symposia. The artist surprises his audience with a series of pastel compositions, supported by some of his well known sculptural creations, shaped with the elaborateness of an artisan and polished to the brilliance of gold – a universe of his soul, complex and ravishing, a recital of bronze sculpture, with a theatrical touch.
