During the night of May 19th, 2012, our visitors can admire the samples exhibited in the Crystal Clusters Room, and two sculptures of the artist Adrian Ilfoveanu. Furthermore, the temporary exhibition «Dobruja between land and sea, imprints of time and mankind».

The Crystal Clusters Room is home to a diverse and rich minerals collection representing mostly crystals characteristic to Romanian geology. The exhibition «Dobruja between land and sea, imprints of time and mankind» is organised with the graceful support of the French Embassy in Romania and benefits from the support of National Museum of the Romanian Peasant and “Grigore Antipa“ National Museum of Natural History. The sculptures of Adrian Ilfoveanu are to be found on the front lawn of the National Geology Museum through the program “Art into green” initiated by the Romanian Geology Institute and AnnArt Contemporary Art Gallery.
