The Night of Museums gives everybody the opportunity to visit the exhibition called “Dobrogea. Half land, half sea, the Influence of Time and of Mankind” housed by the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant. This exhibition is simultaneously displayed in the three neighbouring museums located in Victoriei Square – National Museum of the Romanian Peasant, “Grigore Antipa” National Museum of Natural History and the National Museum of Geology. The inauguration is scheduled for May 18th. The exhibition from the Foyer of the National Museum of Romanian Peasant is focused on the human being and his presence in Dobruja region – from the ancient times and until the present times. The archaeologists and the ethnologists shall create a space where they will talk about their adventures, torn between the joy of discovery and the scientific restrictions. The exhibition shall also display beautiful things specific to this area such as traditional fabrics, wooden objects, ceramic objects, icons, jewellery, furniture items as well as traditional music from Dobruja region. The permanent and the other temporary exhibitions are closed to the public.
