Teleorman County Museum awaits its visitors to spend “60 years in one night”. Under this heading, the museum in Alexandria celebrates through various events the 8th edition of the Night of the Museums, as well as its 60th anniversary.

Exhibition and collection enthusiasts will be allowed free access to the three permanent exhibitions – “Back in time: Archaeology and Numismatics in Teleorman County” (the Neolithic Room, the Numismatic Treasure Room), “Ethnographic Aspects of the village in Teleorman County”, and “Collectivism in Teleorman. Resistance and forced acceptance”, as well as to the three temporary ones – “A history of the Romanian Monarchy in numismatics and philately”, “The folk shirt”, and “The Peretu helmet – Exhibit of the Month”. Moreover, on the evening of May 19th the exhibition “A Lost World” will be open to the public – an exhibition of fossils from the collections of the Argeş County Museum, Teleorman County Museum, and the Municipal Museum of History Roşiorii de Vede.

The activities dedicated to the Night of the Museums will also include a show of classical music.
