The Night of Museum in the Arges County is part of the project “The Argeș County Museum – Cultural Inheritance, History & Continuity”, on the initiative of the Argeş County Council, takes a further spectacular step toward an European event. The Night of  Museum began in Europe in 2005. Now the event is coming in Piteşti, too. The History Department of the Arges County Museum presents “Medieval Civilizations” &  “The Border Fortifications of Walachia”, while the Art Gallery presents the exhibition “Painters from Argeş, Home Again”, a unique possibility to observe an artistic nucleus     characteristic for Argeş area. The two openings will be completed by interactive activities which will include drawing and origami workshops at the Art Gallery, as well as a special program special for kids and a concert of medieval music. All these activities will be introduced by fireworks.
