German and Austrian portraits from the Brukenthal National Museum Collection This exhibition contains 18 portraits from the German and Austrian schools, from the XVIIth to the XIXth centuries, belonging to the Brukenthal National Museum Collection. The exhibition is part of the collaboration between the two museums and displays portraits of Transylvan personalities who had their impact upon the political, social and cultural history of Banat.

Manifesto The project “Manifesto”, coordinated by Casandra Vidrighin, is part of the museum education program of the Stone Restauration Laboratory of the Brukenthal National Museum; it is an interactive exhibition in which the visitor is part of the created artistic concept. This project aims to develop the adolescent’s view of the contemporary art by stressing the visual impact and the message transmitted by an art work. It is complementary to the museum education programs  which our institution is currently developing.
