The library will reveal itself to the culture and beauty lovers by guided tours and by the old book exhibition in the Boema Wing. The mysterious atmosphere will be completed by the classical chords put forward by the choir of the “Goethe” German College, conducted by Adelina Oltean, and by the students of the Music and Plastic Arts School No. 5. The musical Quartet Earth, Wind and Drums will complete the program of the night. They will blend jazz standards, such as Looni’s Lament, Solar or All Blues, with contemporary and avant-garde jazz, trying to revive the 60s’ atmosphere. At midnight, in library great hall, the play “The Russian Roulette” will be performed, based on the poem “The Cloud in Trousers” by Vladimir Mayakovski, a Bucharest Art Theatre production.
