On the occasion of Night of Museums, Criș County Museum invite its visitors to admire the following exhibitions:

• The „Forgotten” muppets of Arcadia Band
• Traditional wooden toys from Dolomites Mountains (Italy) Workshops where dolls can be created and wooden toys can be manufactured. On this occasion those who want to learn more about the mysteries of these two crafts, will be coordinated by experts/specialists in order to decipher the mysteries of the respective crafts and the objects thus created can be taken home.
• 19.30 - The Puppet Theatre Show: A song story (The Small Purse with Two Pennies). Free adaptation after Ion Creangă by Ecaterine Mahăiescu-Păun “It is a musical for the children of all ages and, of course, for their parents.” (I. Mateaş). The show will be held in the courtyard of “Ţara Crişurilor” Museum (The Baroque Palace).
• Visit the Hall of Honour of The Baroque Palace, made possible by the Roman-Catholic Diocese.

The Theoretical Highscool „Ady Endre” Oradea, The Reformed Theological Highscool „Lorántffy Zsuzsanna” Oradea, „Szacsvay Imre” School Oradea 12.00 – The International Museums Day Event: CHIENA Varnishing Exhibition– Traditional wooden toys from Dolomites Mounatains (Italy). The president of Trentino-Alto Aldige Autonomous Province (Italy), Albert Pacher, and the president of Bihor County Council, Cornel Popa, together with all the people involded in the organisation of the exhibition will participate in the varnishing event. The exhibition presents, within three different sections, three fundamental aspects of the traditional wooden toy, which is present in Ladin Valley since the 19th century and then spread over a wide area of Europe. Among the exhibits will be two mechanical toys that can be triggered by visitors.
