The multi-disciplinary British artist Simon Henwood is invited to this outstanding project presented by Galateca Gallery. The artist will display books from his own publishing house, but also illustrations, paintings, comic books, music videos and animations. Henwood is mostly known for his work as a creative director for Kanye West’s “Graduation” album as well as for his “Glow In The Dark” tour. He also directed the rapper’s music video for “Love Lockdown”. In 2009, the artist collaborated with Rihanna, creating the cover for the “Rated R” album as well as taking the lead as a creative director for the “Last Girl On Earth” tour. His works have been exhibited in the most renowned galleries of the world; MOMA (NYC), UCLA Hammer Museum (LA), Galerie Sophie Sheideker (Paris) along with Francis Bacon. The exhibition revolves around the concept of a library. Books from the artist’s own publishing house, the Henwood Library that are part of his collection and date back from 1988 to today will be available for sale in the Gallery Shop. Along with the books the artist will exhibit his paintings, illustrations, photos and music videos. Temporary exhibition: 16 May - 16 June
