• “Cameo Memories” (paintings and precious books – by Anca Seel, artist)
• “Folk Art from Valcea”
• “Mara - Cosau” – a landscape photography exhibition
• “The Amazing Atacama Desert” – a documentary photography exhibition
• “Rock Clusters” – the main exhibition
• “The Systematics of Rocks and Minerals in the Baia Mare Mining Basin” – the permanent exhibition Artistic events:
• Poetry recital by actor Claudiu Pintican together with the Municipal Theatre of Baia Mare.
• Folk music concert with Roxana Ivasuc and featuring Claudiu Chereji
• Special musical segments with the “Armonia” choral group lead by Sasa Nicolici and conducted by prof. Bob Mihaela Zaiceanu
• Dance presentations for children and adults performed by the Prodace 200 group, under the supervision of Mr. Roland Ilies.
• And many more surprises! The program for this year’s events is centered around a theme and organized in honor of “Princess” Stibina I of Herja.

Planetarium George Cosbuc Street no. 16, Baia Mare Telephone no.: 0262275206 Program: Cultural events offered by the Baia Mare Planetarium – a section of the Mineralogy Museum of Baia Mare – for the Night of Museums will feature visits of the “Solar System” permanent exhibition, of the “Romanian Folk Constellations” digital multimedia exhibition, the temporary “Lapusului Pass” photography exhibition, planetarium shows, astronomical observations (Saturn, the Moon, etc) as well as astronomy-related movie screenings and digital astronomy simulations. By using the telescope and Interactive Flight Radar we will attempt to have a series of live observations of high-altitude airplanes. Countless surprises to follow!
