The World Press Photo Awards 2013 will be open for the Romanian public in the University Square in Bucharest. The exhibition comes to Romania for the second consecutive year, through the efforts of the Eidos Foundation. World Press Photo is committed to supporting and advancing high standards in photojournalism and documentary photography worldwide, as well as generating wide public interest in and appreciation for the work of photographers and for the free exchange of information. The exhibition will include the winning photos from this year’s exhibition, selected from 103,481 photographs submitted by almost 6,000 photographers in 124 countries. Temporary exhibition: May 2 - May 26, 2013
