“Adventures in Țara Bârsei” (exhibition of models of fortresses and fortified churches) In The Night of the Museums, visitors have the opportunity to rediscover the story of medieval fortifications from Țara Bârsei through small-scale copies wich have been modeled in clay by pupils. For making the models, the young ones have been studying in museums, libraries and visited medieval monuments. In practice they were guided by folk master Cătălin Postovar. The project was supported by the association ”Edu for All” and it was financed by the County Council for Youth and Sport Brașov.

”From wagon to motorized flying” Heritage items, collectibles, models, ads and historical images show the evolution of transports, from wagon to motorized flying, in a time interval spread over seven decades. The theme of the exhibit respected the specific area of Brașov and the public has the opportunity to see the velocipede which circulated on the streets of Brașov in the last decade of the nineteenth century; the model of the ”Călugăreni” locomotive that made the first run on a railway in Romania, in October 1869, between Bucharest and Giurgiu; the aircraft model manufactured in I.A.R. in the thirties; the helicopter model ”Puma” crafted at I.C.A. Ghimbav in 1975, and the first Romanian tractor model - ” I.A.R. 22 ” gotten off the mounting tape on December 26, 1946.
