Simona Nuţiu Gradoux lives and works in Nancy (France) and Timişoara. She studied the artistic expression at Cluj and Nancy. Starting with the 90s she exhibited her works of art in different art galleries from France, Germany, Japan, Luxembourg, Austria, Romania and Hungary. “Human being and the complexity of his becoming, his relationship with the concept of absence, transformation or disappearance, set up the direction of my approach. The minute revelation of our body’s interiority is imposed to me as an object of fascination and necessary investigation. The cut-out substance, through the fragmented human body, entertains the dialogue with the painted or designed immateriality of the shadow.” (Simona Nuțiu Gradoux)
