In the Night of Museums you can visit GOLIA Tower (bell tower) and the House of Ion Creangă Deacon. Ion Creangă Deacon House is situated within the Monument Ensemble Golia Monastery and is the house where the Romanian writer Ion Creanga lived as he was a deacon at Golia Monastery between 1866-1871.Here can be seen the original deacon garment used by Ion Creangă at Golia, garment which belongs now to the Metropolitan Church of Moldova and Bucovina. At Golia tower, the visitors will climb the 120 steps of the tower and on its terrace they can admire the panorama of Iasi from the height of 30 meters.
