The event Night of Museums 2014 will take place in Gorj County in three places: Museum of History and Archaeology situated in Geneva street, number 8; Art Museum, from Traian street number 2, and Tudor Arghezi Museum of Literature from Târgul-Cărbuneşti. Beside the basic exhibitions, the visitors will be pleasantly surprised by the presentation of temporary exhibitions, film projection and photography, choreography, theatrical performance, face painting and music. The salons with the basic exhibitions of the Museum of History and Archaeology shall be presented by pupils from Tudor Vladimirescu National College from Târgu-Jiu, coordinated by Elena Roată and Elena Velţan, wearing historical costumes of that age. Also, pupils from Constantin Brăiloiu Art and Music Highschool from Târgu-Jiu, coordinated by Oana Boian and Daria Haidău, teachers shall provide the background music and face painting. In the forecourt of the Museum, theater plays will be performed.
