House of Arts is a continuous promoter of contemporary art, providing free spaces for artists: Pygmalion Gallery, Chestnut Court, StudioArt, Underground Gallery and Café Klapka. Pygmalion Gallery has gained its prestige by promoting contemporary art, encouraging emerging artists and being international friendly. House of Arts belongs to Timiş County Directorate for Culture, subordinated to the Ministry of Culture.

Exhibition spaces Pygmalion Gallery, Underground Gallery and Klapka Café will host, exceptionally for the Night of Museums, a group exhibition of artists who usually are exhibited at the House of Arts.

The events on May 17 are included in the Festival Support Art that takes place in the week May 12 to 18 in the House of Arts.
