Guided tours in the Museum of the Evanglical Church A.C.: Come and see! The permanent exhibition within our museum offers the visitors a general view over the history of the Evangelical (Lutheran) Church A.C. in Romania and at the same time over the history of the Transylvanian Saxons. Valuable pieces of art from different centuries, like sculptures, textiles, old handwritings as well as samples of traditional costumes illustrate the Saxon culture. A special attraction of the museum is the collection of chalices for the Holy Communion. These vessels were created between the 14th and 18th century by Transylvanian goldsmiths and are among the greatest European achievements in sacred art. At the end of the tour short videos can be watched.
