The exhibition The prehistoric village in Săndulești organized in collaboration with the History Museum in Turda presents a series of novel archaeological materials discovered in a multi-layer site (Neolithic, Aeneolithic, the Bronze Age, the Roman Age) researched along the Transylvania Highway on the territory of the municipality of Săndulești, Cluj County.

The museum will allow free access and free guided tours in the permanent History of Pharmacy Collection that is on display inside the oldest pharmacy in Cluj, at “St. George”, established in 1573. The uninterrupted succession of pharmacists could be reconstructed, from the eighteenth century until 1949, on the basis of preserved documents. The collection illustrates pharmaceutical activity in Transylvania between the sixteenth and the twentieth centuries. The most valuable Transylvanian pharmaceutical objects have been donated by professor Iuliu Orient (1869-1940), whose collection was first put on display in 1904 at the Transylvanian Museum and has been enriched ever since.
