Guided visits of the Roznovanu Palace Roznovanu Palace was used in 1892 as a temporary residence of the Royal family, part of the space being allocated to the local authorities. The building played an important role on the stage of history - especially during the First World War, between 1916 – 1918, when it hosted political leaders refugees from Bucharest. In the room that is now the Mayor’s office, had his office H.M. King Ferdinand I, and in the current City Council Meeting Room, the Romanian War Council (in 1918). Since 1970, the building is the Municipality headquarters.
