Permanent exhibition and permanent tactile exhibition of the museum in Reduta Palace Temporary exhibition “The Apogee of Art Engraving” – Original Rembrandt van Rijn graphics, restored by Amand Durand, shown in Cluj – 273 pieces restored that are preserved at Louvre Museum in Paris. The exhibition is divided in two sections: April 12 – May 11: Portraits and Religious Scenes (illustrations of the Bible); May 13 – June 8: Portraits and Genre Scenes, the most famous figure studies in the world. These masterpieces are owned by a private collector in Luxembourg. “It is the largest exhibition of Rembrandt etchings made in Romania. We are glad to show to the public 273 of total 286 prints made by Rembrandt throughout his life” – said the collector’s press service. This exhibition will travel also to Bucharest, Iasi and Timisoara.
